Pastor Isaak was born in Jefferson and dedicated at Abundant Life Ministries while his father served the church as an Associate Pastor. He grew up in Winterset, Iowa where his parents have pastored Word of Life Family Church for over 25 years. Being brought up in a home full of the Word and Spirit, he was raised only having known life with God. Sensing the call to ministry, he attended Rhema Bible Training College where he studied Pastoral Ministry. Upon graduation, he moved back to Iowa and began working on staff as an assistant pastor at a Rhema affiliated church. In 2019 God called Pastor Isaak to Abundant Life Ministries to “pick up the baton” being passed from his predecessor, David Schroeder Pastor Emeritus.
Pastor Isaak is passionate about preaching the gospel, caring for the church family, equipping generations for the Kingdom’s mission and leading the church into God’s plans for the future.
In addition to the work of the ministry, he is a dedicated husband to Taylor, father to Judah and Emercyn, amateur DIY'er and lover of all things outdoors.
